St Patrick’s Day Special in Kenmare

One of the most famous dates in the Irish calendar is fast approaching. 17th March marks St Patrick’s Day with towns celebrating the date with parades and great Irish music can be found in the local pubs.

Evening of Drama

Here in Kenmare and back by popular demand is the drama Dancing at Lughnasa – 17th – 20th March @ 8pm.

Set in 1936, during the summer before De Valera’s new constitution was approved by referendum, the play depicts the late summer days when love briefly seems possible for three of the Mundy sisters, and their family welcomes home their frail elder brother, who has returned from his life as a missionary in Africa.
